Yester was a normal toddler. He liked to play. He liked to get in trouble. And he never stopped moving…ever. That all changed when he was two. His eyesight took a turn for the worse, and his childhood went with it.

Dr. Patricia Sierra, an ophthalmologist living in Sacramento, joined a team of volunteers from CAEC in Honduras in February of 2017. She had no idea that one week’s work could impact so many lives…or how it would impact her own.
