Central American Eye Clinics (CAEC) partners with local clinics and organizations in Central America to provide volunteer opportunities for visiting medical staff, complete logistics support for donated eyecare equipment, ongoing training and support for Central American medical staff, and financial partnership opportunities. Every cataract surgery brings freedom to at least 20 people.

Dr. Patricia Sierra, an ophthalmologist living in Sacramento, CA joined a team of volunteers from CAEC in Honduras in February of 2017. She had volunteered extensively in Honduras before, but was amazed at the leveraging impact CAEC and its partners could provide.
